English: Detail of the American businessman William P. Beecher's grave (1797-1850) at the English Cemetery in Málaga. Relief depicting an allegory of freedom, holding a flag and a shield with the legend "LIBERTY". At the top, thirteen stars surround the central figure, a possible allusion to the thirteen colonies that were the seeds of the current United States of America at the time of its independence from Great Britain.
Español: Detalle de la tumba del comerciante estadounidense William P. Beecher (1797-1850) en el Cementerio Inglés de Málaga. Relieve que representa una alegoría de la libertad, sustentando una bandera y un escudo con la leyenda «LIBERTY». En la parte superior circundan a la figura central trece estrellas, posible alusión a las trece colonias que fueron germen de los actuales Estados Unidos de América en el momento de independizarse de Gran Bretaña.
