Description

Dicksonia squarrosa Wheki

This is the most common tree fern found in forests throughout New Zealand.

It is a medium sized tree fern and the fastest growing and will tolerate a wide range of conditions.

The fronds are harsh to touch and are dark green above and paler on the underside.
