Description
Deutsch: Bereits im 16. Jahrhundert stand hier eine Bockwindmühle, die 1588 abgebrochen wurde. Die Vorgängerin der heutigen Mühle wurde 1899 abgebrochen und 1900 durch den jetzigen vierstöckigen Galerie-Holländer ersetzt. Die Turmhöhe einschließlich der Kappe beträgt ca. 28 m. Die Mühle, eine Getreidemühle, wurde noch bis 1965 mit Windkraft betrieben, danach bis 1975 mit Motorbetrieb. Die Mühlentechnik ist noch vorhanden und funtionsfähig. Die Deichmühle kann auch von innen besichtigt werden.
