English: Example of a diffraction grating in daily life. Shown is a LED night light on a balcony, photographed through a window and a curtain acting as a grating. The left box shows a magnification of the occuring diffraction pattern due to the grating. The box on the bottom shows a magnification of the middle line of the diffraction pattern. One can easly see the maxima of diffrent orders.
Deutsch: Alltagsbeispiel eines optischen (Transmissions-)Gitters. Fotografiert wurde ein kleines LED-Balkonlicht auf einem Nachbarbalkon durch ein Fenster und eine Gardine. Die linke Box zeigt eine Vergrößerung der auftretenden Intensitätsmaxima. Die untere Box zeigt die horizontale mittlere Verteilung erneut vergrößert, in welcher die Intensitätsmaxima bis zur 4. Ordnung sichtbar sind. |
