"Art. 16. A Divisão de Cavalaria (D. C.) compreende:

Quartel General:

- Estado Maior. - Ajudância Geral. - Chefias de Serviços. - Órgãos auxiliares. - Companhia de Q. G. - Pelotão de Polícia Militar. c) Comando da Artilharia Divisionária, d)

Tropa:

- 2 Brigadas de Cavalaria, com 2 Regimentos de Cavalaria, cada uma. - 1 Regimento de Cavalaria Mecanizado. - 1 Regimento de Cavalaria Motorizado. - 2 Grupos de Artilharia 75. - 1 Grupo de Obuzes 105. - 1 Companhia de Engenharia. - 1 Companhia de Transmissões. - 1 Companhia de Saúde. - 1 Companhia de Intendência.

- 1 Companhia Média de Manutenção. "
