Caption from the source material reads: "Erected by the Negro Baptist women of Kentucky, and presented to the Trustees of State University, February 7, 1909. In addition to the Domestic Science Department, it contains the dormitories. The General Education Board gave $5,000toward the Dormitory Fund".
