Description
Deutsch: Die kleine Siedlung Eichholz liegt abseits der Verkehrswege durch das flache Zerbster Ackerland. Beim Näherkommen grüßt zuerst der Turm der Kirche St. Trinitatis, die in einer Gehölzgruppe zu stehen scheint. Der Name des Weilers weist darauf hin, dass sich hier einst Wälder ausgebreitet haben, während heute ringsum Feldwirtschaft betrieben wird. Auf der Webseite des Kirchenkreises Zerbst wird über die Kirche u. a. geschrieben, dass "die romanische Feldsteinkirche um 1200 entstand (Holzdatierung im Dach 1212). Sie besteht aus Schiff und monumentalen Querriegelturm im Westen..."
