Summary[edit]

Description
English: Shot of the former Union Station in Doswell, Virginia, as seen from Doswell Road (VSR 688). The station served the former main lines of the Richmond, Fredericksburg and Potomac Railroad and the Virginia Central Railroad, and is now the headquarters of the Buckingham Branch Railroad. The Virginia Central was acquired by the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway in 1868 which merged with the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad in 1965, Seaboard Systems in 1982, and then CSX in 1986. CSX acquired the RF&P in 1991.
