Description

A U.S. Naval Air Reserve Douglas A-4L Skyhawk (BuNo 148490) from Attack Squadron 205 (VA-205) "Green Falcons" in flight. VA-205 was assigned to Reserve Carrier Air Wing 20 (RCVW-20) aboard the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy (CVA-67) for a deployment to the Western Atlantic Ocean from 10 to 20 August 1971.

The A-4L 148490 is (of 2016) on display on a pole at a reststop on the interstate I-10 near Pensacola, Florida (USA), painted in Blue Angels colours - although it never operated with the Blue Angels (location: N 30.61116, W 86.97890).
