| Description |
Deutsch: Simulation eines Drei-Körper-Systems mit dem Leapfrog- (blaue Kurve) und Hermite-Polynome-Verfahren (rote Kurve) über einen Zeitraum von 50 Jahren mit festen Zeitschritten von 1 Tag. Die Lösungen mittels der Runge-Kutta und Mehrschrittmethode fallen mit derjenigen des Hermite-Polynome-Verfahrens weitgehend zusammen, weshalb die entsprechenden Kurven nicht eingezeichnet sind. Die Leapfrog-Methode (welche hier als Prädiktor-Korrektor-Algorithmus angewandt ist) weicht trotz ihrer nur etwas geringeren Genauigkeit deutlich von den übrigen Verfahren ab und bricht bei einem Beinahezusammenstoß zweier Massenpunkte nach 33 Jahren gänzlich zusammen.
Die Masse der drei Körper beträgt jeweils eine Sonnenmasse. Die Anfangspositionen (vor der Transformation ins Schwerpunktsystem) lauten (10 AE / 0), (0 / 10 AE) und (-10 AE / 0), die Anfangsgeschwindigkeiten (0 / 5 km/s), (-5 km/s / 0) und (0 / -5 km/s). |
