Čeština: Rodinný dům na adrese: U Mrázovky 2071/7, 150 00 Praha 5 - Smíchov. Pickova vila (též Vila Pick) je památkově chráněný dům, který se nachází v ulici U Mrázovky v Praze na Smíchově. Vilu vystavěl v letech 1930 až 1931 pro podnikatele židovského původu Emila Picka brněnský architekt Arnošt Wiesner. Od roku 1994 je zapsána na seznam kulturních památek. Jedná se o patrovou budovu na čtvercovém půdorysu s řadou vysokých komínů a kýlovou střechou pokrytou břidlicí. Stěny domu jsou nabarveny na bílo a porůstají břečťanem. Čelní hladká fasáda objektu je v prostřední vertikální ose opatřena dvojicí obdélníkových oken. Vila nese svůj název po původním majiteli, který emigroval do Izreale.
English: Family house at the address: U Mrázovky 2071/7, 150 00 Prague 5 - Smíchov. Pick's Villa (also Villa Pick) is a listed building located in U Mrázovky Street in Prague's Smíchov. The villa was built between 1930 and 1931 for the entrepreneur of Jewish origin Emil Pick by the Brno architect Arnošt Wiesner. It has been on the list of cultural monuments since 1994. It is a two-storey building on a square floor plan with a number of high chimneys and a keel roof covered with slate. The walls of the house are painted white and walls are partly covered by growing ivy. The front smooth facade of the building is provided with a pair of rectangular windows in the middle vertical axis. The villa is named after the original owner, who emigrated to Israel. |
