Description
English: View east along Lord Byron's Walk towards Hall Dene Level Crossing carrying taking the road across the Durham Coast Line. The building in the left of the shot (on the oppersite side of the tracks) was the main station building for Seaham Hall Dene railway station which was a private station built to serve Seaham Hall, the then home of the Marquess of Londonderry. The station's platform's were located on either side of the tracks to the left of the level crossing. The station closed in 1923.
