English: EAGLE WING Clipper ship sailing card. Glidden & Williams' Line, EAGLE WING (built 1853); blue sailing card with rounded corners, black lettering and gold border; vignette of clipper ship under full sail in center, house flag of Glidden & Williams' Line to right, small drawing of eagle in profile landing; printed on front Glidden & Williams' Line - SAN FRANCISCO - To sail on or before SATURDAY, Dec. 17th. The New First Class Clipper Ship/ EAGLE WING!. Capt. E. H. Linnell... Late of Ship Buena Vista. The Eagle Wing is of beautiful model, and like the Don Quixote braced with iron and otherwise constructed in the most thorough manner. She will sail as above and be in time for the SPRING TRADE. Shippers will please send forward their engagements promptly. Notwithstanding the dullness of California trade at the present time we shall continue to despatch our Ships on a given day as here tofore. To be followed by the First Class Clipper Ships HERALD OF THE MORNING & COEUR DE LION. FOR FREIGHT OR PASSAGE APPLY AT THE California Packet Office, 29 Lewis Wharf. Agents at San Francisco, Messrs. Flint, Peabody & Co./Watson's Press - 25 Doane Street."
