NSF presented an event, EPSCoR Innovations: Generating a Strong Economy, on Capitol Hill on May 2, 2014. The agency’s Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research promotes strategic investments to build science and engineering research and development capacity in 31 states and jurisdictions. Idaho’s state EPSCoR director, Peter Goodwin, Ph.D., of the University of Idaho, talked about the transformative impact of EPSCoR inspired technology on water management in Idaho and other western states.
