Català: Actualment ve representat amb una font coberta sobre fons vermell. Aquest escut va ser elaborat fa pocs anys, des dels inicis ha anat canviant diverses vegades però sempre amb el dibuix de la font coberta. Avui en dia tenim dues evidencies: al 1782 va morir i fou enterrat a la catedral de Girona D. Felipe de Bruixoses i de Fontcoberta, en el seu escut, dividit en quatre parts, ostenta el dibuix d’una font coberta en l’últim quarter. D’altra banda també tenim constància de que I D. Carlos de Fontcuberta i de Pascual té en el seu escut d’armes una font de plata coberta amb un teulat sostingut amb quatre columnes, tot d’or. El solar del llinatge és a Vilamalla. |
