Description
English: Edmonton Transit bus 6003 (a modified New Flyer DE40LFR) displaying "Board at back, if able" at the Southgate Transit Centre. Taken during the COVID-19 pandemic. From March 21, 2020 to June 15, 2020 Edmonton Transit asked passengers to use the back doors for entering and exiting the bus if they are able to (some users need the ramp or low floor feature of the bus to board and are unable to use the back), so that the driver is at a lower risk of coming into contact with the virus. As users would need to go to the front of the bus to pay fare, Edmonton Transit make bus and LRT service free between those dates as well. Advertising on the side of the bus is for local radio station CKRA-FM.
