Summary

[edit]
Description

Flying over the Firth of Forth on the approach to Scotland's capital city there is a good view looking South.

Part of the docks of Leith are at the bottom. Berthed there in the lower-centre of the picture is the Royal Yacht, Britannia with a blue coloured warship beside it, Above them, mid picture, are the hills of Arthur's Seat and Salisbury Crags. To their right is the city centre. The location of the famous castle is marked by a small red dot.

In the distance (top right) we see the Pentland Hills and at their left the distinct lines of the artificial ski slope.

Photo taken with a manual focus 35mm f2.0 ai lens which is 40+ years old.
