English: The Scottish – American Soldiers Monument, a memorial in the Old Calton Cemetery (Edinburgh Scotland) was raised in remembrance of the Scottish American Soldiers who fought in the American Civil War, it was unveiled in 1893. This is the only memorial dedicated to the American Civil War outside the USA. The bronze lifesize statue of Abraham Lincoln was created by the American sculptor George E. Bissell.
