| Description |
English: Pupil at meal. A notice explains the educational functions of medreses, the 10 pupils learned to read and write, but also some crafts like calligraphy and marbling. They received 2 silver coins a day, financing it all was by the sultan's foundation. One of pictures that I took of objects (some in an earlier museum but moved later) that are exposed in the Foundation Museum. Of several I have no more information. |
