Description
Français : Cette statue de priante à l'identité incertaine représente l'épouse de Jean des Martins, chancelier du comte de Provence René d'Anjou. Elle ornait la chapelle funéraire que son époux avait fait construire en 1451 au nord de l'abside de la cathédrale d'Aix-en-Provence. Elle a été sculptée par Audinet Stéphani, sculpteur originaire de Cambrai à qui Jean des Martins confie le décor sculptural de sa chapelle.
