Description
Deutsch: Pfeffenhausen, Egg, Am Jägerfeld, Kapelle St. Jakobus 600 Meter westlich des Ortes im Feld. Kleiner massiver Satteldachbau, von 1850. Kleiner, gemauerter Altartisch. Unter dem Kreuz eine schön geschnitzte Figur des Apostels Jakobus dem Älteren. Er war der Bruder des Evangelisten Johannes. Herodes Agrippa ließ ihn 44 n. Chr. hinrichten. Nach späteren Legenden ist er in Spanien begraben (Jakob von Compostela - Santiago de Compostela). Die Figur zeigt 2004 den Heiligen in Pilgertracht mit Hut, Stab aber leider ohne die Pilgerflasche. Seitlich zwei kleine Figuren Herz-Jesu und Herz-Maria mit zwei Putten.
