Description
Español: Con la promulgación de la ley fundamental de la Zona del Canal en 1912 se inició la construcción de una sede administrativa permanente y se planteó una avenida monumental como eje vertebral orientado hacia el nuevo edificio de la Administración. Tiene una ancha isleta en el centro y cuatro hileras de palmas reales. A cada lado del paseo se construyeron cinco edificios idénticos, utilizados como residencia de altos funcionarios del Canal de Panamá. Además de estos edificios destacan la Escuela Primaria de Balboa (1917) y la Oficina de Correos (1920) en el Círculo Stevens.
