Un lugar de culto desde tiempos anteriores a la invasión romana, y el más conocido de estos restos arqueológicos es conocido popularmente como la silla de Felipe II Bello, famoso, turístico y frecuentado monumento , es posiblemente un antiguo lugar sagrado, posiblemente dedicado al "Marte" de los vetones. Su forma escalonada y abarquillada lo asemeja a muchos otros altares del mismo tipo en zonas de estirpe céltica
