Y me permito citar algo del Movimiento de Trabajadores del Campo Sin Tierra de Brasil (Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra) para demostrar que, en toda latinoamérica, la exigencia sigue siendo la misma (despues de tantos años): "A nação, por meio do Estado, do governo, das leis e da organização de seu povo deve zelar permanentemente, pela soberania, pelo patrimônio coletivo e pela sanidade ambiental. É preciso realizar uma ampla Reforma Agrária, com caráter popular, para garantir acesso à terra para todos os que nela trabalham. Garantir a posse e uso de todas as comunidades originárias, dos povos indígenas, ribeirinhos, seringueiros, geraiszeiros e quilombolas. Estabelecer um limite máximo ao tamanho da propriedade de terra, como forma de garantir sua utilização social e racional. É preciso organizar a produção agrícola nacional tendo como objetivo principal a produção de alimentos saudáveis, livres de agrotóxicos e organismos geneticamente modificados (transgênicos) para toda a população, aplicando assim o princípio da soberania alimentar.
