Norsk bokmål: Hovedbygningen på Elgeseter gård, også kalt Vollan gård sett fra Høgskoleveien. Klæbuveien, snødekt plass og plankegjerde foran. Bak ses toppen av taket på Statsarkivets bygning med spir. Tårnet på Nidarosdomen bak takene på husene på hjørnet Vollabakken - Klostergata til høyre. En mann står ved gjerdet til venstre. Hund ruller seg i snøen.
Den store trebygningen i krysset Klostergata / Klæbuveien var i sin tid hovedbygningen på Elgeseter gård. Nå mere kjent som Vollan. Det er bygd først på 1800-tallet. Trondheim kommune tok over eiendommen i 1850. Bygget har vært brukt både som tvangsarbeidsanstalt og kvinnefengsel - og i de senere år som bolighus. Vollan kretsfengsel ble bygd på eiendommen. |
