DescriptionElida 2002-07-25 1810Z.jpg | Hurricane Elida can be seen over the western Pacific Ocean just southwest of Baja California in this true color image taken on July 25, 2002, by the Moderate-resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS), flying aboard NASA's Terra spacecraft. The hurricane was packing sustained winds of over 185 kilometers (115 miles) per hour as of 12:00 UTC on July 26, 2002. It's expected to head northwest across the Pacific Ocean, eventually diminishing to a tropical depression. | ||||||
