English: In the centre of this photograph is a drum-frieze containing three narrative registers; the first depicts the Sibi jataka, the second the Buddha subdues the elephant Nalagiri and the last, the Sasa Jataka (Elliot no. 105). Above this sits a fragment of a dome slab divided into two registers. In the lower register is Nagaraja and his 4 queens (only their naga headdresses remain intact) - in the upper register is the Cakravartin (Universal Monarch) surrounded by female and male figures and with a horse. A frieze of seated Buddhas separates the two registers (Elliot no. 129). Flanking these two fragments are two pilasters carved in high relief. The pilaster of the left is crowned with a stupa in front of a dharmacakra, adorned with narrative reliefs in four registers, from the bottom: Prince Siddhartha taking leave of Candaka and his horse, The Bodhisattva seated on a throne in abhayamudra, the Buddha seated under a torana and a stupa with a Buddha in abhaya mudra seated in the gateway (Elliot no. 16). The pilaster on the right is adorned with narrative reliefs (from the bottom): a standing princely figure, a seated Bodhisattva with worshippers, and a stupa with a Buddha in abhayamudra seated in the gateway (Elliot no. 15).
