Description
English: Didsbury Priory (formerly Eltville House) on the borders of Withington and Didsbury, Manchester, UK, photographed c.1905. Sitting in the garden are James Clayton Cholrton and his family. Before 1880, the house belonged to the Souchay family and in the 1840s the composer Felix Mendelssohn stayed here as a guest.
