Deutsch: Die Windmühle in Ennigerloh wurde 1869 im Auftrag von Gerhard Franzgrote und seiner Frau Anna geb. Neuhaus durch den Mühlenbaumeister Franz Wiek aus Wadersloh als Wallholländermühle mit Innenkrühwerk erbaut. Auf dem 114 m hohen „Mühlengeist“ stehen seit über 500 Jahren Windmühlen. Die Mühle wurde bis 1923 mit Windkraft und bis 1929 mit Unterstützung eines Elektromotors betrieben. Seitdem liegt die sehr gut erhaltene Mühlentechnik brach. 1938 erwarb die Gemeinde Ennigerloh die Mühle, nach dem 2. Weltkrieg wurde sie von Pfadfindern, Messdienern und den Sportfreunden Ennigerloh genutzt. 2006 wurde die Mühle wegen Einsturzgefährdung geschlossen. Der neu gegründete Verein „Mühlenfreunde Ennigerloh e. V.“ hat die Mühle 2008 von der Stadt gepachtet und mit vielfältiger finanzieller Unterstützung grundlegend saniert und restauriert. Das Ziel die Mühle zu sanieren und wieder voll funktionsfähig herzustellen um nach 90 Jahren erneut mit Windkraft Getreide zu Mehl zu mahlen, wurde 2013 erreicht.
