Toledo, 1 de septiembre de 2021.- El jefe del Ejecutivo autonómico, Emiliano García-Page, entrega las chaquetillas MICHELIN a los chefs de Castilla-La Mancha reconocidos con esta distinción. (Fotos: D. Esteban González // JCCM) The president of the Toledo Provincial Council, Álvaro Gutiérrez, highlighted this morning the great moment that Castilian-La Mancha gastronomy is experiencing, recalling that “it is a relevant, essential, and increasingly important factor in the tourism strategy of Castilla-La Mancha ”.

This was stated by the provincial president during the event organized by the Michelin Guide and the regional label Raíz Culinaria in Ivan Cerdeño's restaurant in the Cigarral del Ángel Custodio, where the 33 great chefs of Castilla-La Mancha were awarded jackets to the 33 distinguished chefs of Castilla-La Mancha in 2021 .

Álvaro Gutiérrez shared the event with the president of Castilla-La Mancha. Emiliano García Page, the Minister of Economy, Business and Employment, Patricia Franco, the General Director and President of the Michelin Spain and Portugal Board, María de Paz, the General Director of Tourism, Ana Isabel Fernández, the Director of Sales and Marketing Food & Travel of Michelin Spain and Portugal, Miguel Pereda, in addition to the 33 recognized chefs.
