Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The fountain house of Ionic order located at the back wall of the Great Theatre’s stage building dates to the Hellenistic Period. During the Roman period its depth was extended by ca. 2 meters and the new anteroom which was thereby created was separated from the street at the front by two unfluted columns. Water came from the Marnas River, a water basin has not survived.
