English: An epitaph poem on an unknown mother's gravestone in St Mary Churchyard, Bideford, Devon, UK. The archaic ligatures "ſb" and "ſt" are used in the inscription.

Farewell my dear Huſband,
I leave you behind,
With Eight dear children,
to them pray be kind,
Two lie here with me,
mould'ring in the duſt,
It cost me my life
in bearing the laſt
