Description
Deutsch: Gedenkstein auf dem Schneckenbergla am Hang des Burgbergs in Erlangen. Bis 1885 befand sich hier ein Steinbruch der Familie Pickelmann. 1890 wurde der aus Sandsteinfelsen und Abraum bestehende Hügel an den Verschönerungsverein verkauft. Auf dem Plateau befinden sich zwei Steinbänke und eine Steintafel, die an den Dichter Friedrich Rückert erinnert. Dieser besuchte in seiner Erlanger Zeit oftmals den kleinen Hügel, um die heute weitgehend verloren gegangene Aussicht auf die Regnitzauen zu genießen.
