Description
Español: El escudo es rectangular presentando en la parte superior un yelmo de armadura, el remarco alberga el nombre “RANCHO HUIZACHALDE LOS CANALES”. En la parte superior del remarco se encuentran dos abejas símbolo del trabajo y en la parte inferior 1851, el año de su fundación.

La parte interna del escudo se divide en cuarteles: en el primer cuartel se encuentra una gráfica del Frontón de Piedras Pintas y un originario labrando la tierra, en el cuartel superior izquierdo se encuentra el león rampante símbolo del estado. En el cuartel inferior izquierdo, se encuentran la fachada de la presidencia municipal; la Escuela Primaria y la Iglesia del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús.

En el cuartel inferior derecho un árbol anacahuita; la cabeza de un venado cola blanca y un jabalí, abundantes en la región. En esta parte central se encuentra la fotografía de José María Parás y Ballesteros primer gobernador Constitucional del Estado y en su honor lleva el municipio. En la parte inferior del escudo lleva una banda tricolor donde se lee el nombre y lema del municipio: PARAS, N.L., SIEMPRE PROGRESISTA.
