Español: Escudo de la provincia de Almería, España Escudo cuartelado de siete: 1º de gules, un castillo de plata aclarado y mazonado de Sable (que es de Berja); 2º de azur, unas gavillas de trigo de oro (que es de Canjáyar); 3º tres montes en su color cimados de matas de ortigas, sobre ondas de mar de azur y plata (que es de Cuevas de Almanzora); 4º losanjado de gules y plata, y brochante sobre todo una torre albarrana (desmochada) de oro (que es de Gergal); 5º de azur, un castillo de oro surmontado de una llave de plata (que es de Huércal-Overa); 6º de azur, el castillo de oro, siniestrado de una llave de plata (que es de Purchena); 7º de plata, un león de gules armado de sable(que es de Sorbas);Entado en punta partida: 1ºde gules una llave de plata colocada en palo y acostada de dos torres del mismo metal, mazonadas y aclaradas de sable (que es el de Vera) ; 2ºde oro , tres montes en su color cimados de matas de ortigas de sínople, sobre ondas de azur y plata que es el de Vélez-Rubio. Sobre el todo escusón formado por el escudo de la capital (en campo de plata la Cruz de Génova de gules, y bordura componada de Castilla, León, Aragón, Navarra —águila negra— y Granada). Timbre: Corona mural. Aprobado por la Diputación Provincial en sesión plenaria de 29 de Julio de 1925. Escudo de las provincias de Andalucía. |
