Summary[edit]

Description
English: This is the Eski Cami or Old Mosque. It was the first Ottoman building in the city (1403-1414). It is an early Ottoman type, with nine domes (three rows of three) supported by four huge columns. It took inspiration from the Ulu Camii in Bursa, and the calligraphic works all over the mosque increase the resemblance.
