Description
Español: En la zona histórica de Coyoacán dentro del Barrio de la Conchita, se encuentra ubicada la llamada “Hacienda de Cortés”, antigua casona de estilo colonial mexicano que se dice fuera parte de las caballerizas del conquistador español. Ahora también funge como restaurante y se alquila para eventos sociales. La visita al inmueble es gratuita.

La historia de la casa en el siglo pasado se remonta a los años veinte, cuando fue habitada por el pintor Gerardo Murillo, mejor conocido como el Dr. Atl. Años más tarde, vivió en ella el actor Tito Guizar, pionero del cine nacional y cantante de la música ranchera; asimismo la habitó el poeta Antonio Medizbolio, autor de la canción “Caminante del Mayab”.

El lugar también ha sido usado para filmar innumerables películas, telenovelas y comerciales para televisoras nacionales y extranjeras. Además, su antigua casa ha sido catalogada por el INAH como Casa Histórica.
