Description
Deutsch: Anhand von Bauplänen einer fast gleichen Kirche auf Hawaii wurde 1906/1907 die Bonnus-Kirche an der Mittelstraße/Ecke Bahnhofstraße errichtet. Vor ihrem Bau besuchten die evangelischen Bürger Bersenbrück den Gottesdienst in Gehrde. Der Innenraum der Kirche wird von einer profilierten Holzdecke, die einem umgekehrten Schiffsrumpf gleicht, überwölbt. Rechts vor dem Haupteingang der Kirche befindet sich ein in den 70er Jahren gepflanzter Mammutbaum
