Čeština: Evžen Macků (* 1932 - 1961) byl uherskohradišťský sochař a kreslíř. Genealogické kořeny akademického sochaře Evžena Macků sahají až k Josefu Mánesovi. Po studiích na SUPŠ v Uherském Hradišti a AVU v Praze byla slibně se vyvíjející tvorba Evžena Macků předčasně ukončena tragickou smrtí pádem při horolezeckém výstupu na jižní stěnu Východního Železného štítu ve Vysokých Tatrách (Slovensko).
English: Evžen Macků (* 1932 - 1961) was a sculptor and drawing artist from Uherské Hradiště. The genealogical roots of the academic sculptor Evžen Macků go to famous Czech painter Josef Mánes. After studying at the SUPŠ in Uherské Hradiště and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, the promising development of Evžen Macků was prematurely terminated by a tragic death (fall down during a mountain climbing) on the southern wall of the Eastern Iron Shield in the High Tatras (Slovakia). |
