Description
English: View northwest towards Ex-Alexander Cowan & Sons' 0-4-0ST "Penicuik", built by Hawthorne Leslie (works no. 3799). The locomotive (not operational at the time of visiting) is stabled at the southern end of a siding at Alnwick Lionheart station on the Aln Valley Railway, immediately beyond the end of the canopy over the servicing platform. Behind it (to the right) can be seen the cab of ex-War Department Hunslet Austerity 0-6-0ST no. 48 (works no. 75015). Beyond the siding can be seen the locomotive shed and in the distance (left) can be seen platform 1 of the station.
