Description
English: View north of ex-Northern Trains Class 144 "Pacer" 144004 (centre) as it stands at platform 1 of Alnwick Lionheart station, waiting to depart on a round-trip to Greenrigg Halt (though, at the time of visit, this latter station was still under construction). This is one of two BR Class 144 preserved at the Aln Valley Railway after their withdrawal from main line service in 2020; the other, 144016, being stabled in a siding visible in the far distance. Platform 2 can be seen on far (left) side of the tracks and the station footbridge can be seen crossing the tracks in the background.
