[edit]DescriptionExpressivity matrix of an artificial binary neuron.png |
English: This is a representation of all possible states of an artificial binary neuron. Darkblue and white pixels correspond to active and nonactive neurons state, respectively. The neuron takes input from a binary {-1, 1} vector x of size 11 (for this picture). The neuron also has 11 binary {-1, 1} synapses (w, weights, connections). The number of possible input and weight vectors is 2^11=2048. The color of the pixel (i, j) shows the state of the neuron for the i-th input vector x (numbered from 1 to 2048) and for the j-th weight vector (numbered from 1 to 2048). (hence the resolution of the image is 2048x2048).
Neuron becomes active if the sum of input values multiplied by weights (wx) is greater or equal to zero.
English: This is a representation of all possible states of an artificial binary neuron.
