Description
English: "Sketch for The Last Judgement" by Andrey Avinoff, sometimes called "Eye of Wisdom" as he seldom titled his paintings. Likely circa 1920-1925 in graphite and watercolor-heightened with white and gold on paper mounted on board. Reproduction first published by Carnegie Museum of Art in 2011 in "Andrey Avinoff: In Pursuit of Beauty." One of the many mystic paintings by Avinoff.
