| Description |
January 18, 2011 As part of the "Always-Ready" policy of the IAF, many Israeli jets and aircrafts await departure in IAF hangers. These jets are the IAF's most advanced due to the special and unique modifications made by Israeli engineers. In addition, pilots are especially trained on these jets for only the most elite and special missions. This F-16I nicknamed "Sufa" (Storm) is manufactured by Lockheed Martin and equipped with advanced systems developed in Israel, according to the IAF's specifications, by Israel's defense industries.
