Summary[edit]

Description A U.S. Navy Grumman F8F-1 Bearcat (BuNo 95337) and an F7F-3N Tigercat night fighter in flight, circa 1946. The F8F 95337 was later in service with Fighting Squadron VF-4A and hit a banner during gunnery training at Naval Air Station Quonset Point, Rhode Island (USA) on 21 October 1947. The F8F crashed, the pilot was killed.
