Deutsch: Das FFH-Gebiet "Moore bei Buxtehude", angelegt zum Schutze des Wachtelkönigs, wurde durch die A26-Autobahnbaustelle zerstört. Perfiderweise ist es nach wie vor FFH-Gebiet. Wenigstens der Wachtelkönig konnte wegfliegen. Hier kann man die Prioritäten des deutschen Naturschutzes erkennen! Rezo hat Recht.
English: Here you see an environmental protection area in lower saxony, northern Germany. It is named "Moor aside Buxtehude". The sand wall is the preparation for a highway passing the area, destroying the nature completely. The aim of this area was to protect the corncrake, a rare bird. Let me know if you find a corncrake at the picture. The area is still declared as "protected flora and fauna habitat" according to European Habitat Directive. It shows priorities in German nature protection. |
