Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Brassey's version of the French Alma class ironclads, of which seven were built in the late 1860's. Note the funnel(s), placed behind the main-mast. This can not be verified from available photographs and models, which all show it(them) ahead of the main-mast. The Alma class did not look like this, so the drawing can only be used to represent the Belliqueuse - still with the funnel problem.
