Kommentar: Die Medaille ist auf die Errichtung eines Denkmals für Ludwig XIV. in Paris geprägt worden. Das Porträt des Königs auf Vs. ist offensichtlich von Joseph Roettiers, dem Chefgraveur der Pariser Münze gefertigt, eine mögliche Signatur wurde wohl entfernt. Die Rs., von Faltz gefertigt, zeigt die Ansicht des Denkmals mit der von Viktoria bekränzten Statue des Königs auf der Place des Victoires.
