Liebe Eltern!
Habe heute Euren lieben Brief mit Beigabe erhalten. Ich danke herzlich dafür. Daß das Geld so schnell eintrifft hätte ich nicht gedacht. Die Brotmarken kann ich sehr gut gebrauchen. Aber jetzt braucht Ihr mir keine mehr zu schicken sonst geht es Euch noch ab. Ich weis doch wie knapp das Brot zu Hause ist. Nachmals vielen Dank für das liebe Packet! Besonders die Milch ist fein! Stellt Euch vor, Mittags wird die Post bei uns immer verteilt, da wird bei der Packetpost mein Name verlesen. Ich konnte es garnicht glauben da ich doch erst ein packet von Euch erhalten habe. Na ich gehe hin und hole das Packet ab. Es war schön groß und ziemlich schwer. Ich schau auf den Absender wer wars? Von Lakl Poldi. Na ich habe mich gefreut. Lauter schöne Sachen. Kuchen, Mehlspeise, Wurst und die Hauptsache ein ganzes Packet Butter. Na die Wirten können sichs ja leisten. Karl und ich, „schnabulierten“ fleißig! Du brauchst Dir, liebe Mama, mit den schicken keine unnötigen Ausgaben machen, Ihr braucht doch die [Sachen selber.]
