[Poldis Ansichten über das Militär haben sich] auch gründlich geändert. Hörte von einen Kameraden der aus Wien kam das Ihr jetzt auch öfter Fliegerallarm habt. Wär hätte das gedacht? Es ist wohl der Russe? Hatt er auch schon Bombem geschmißen? Was sagen den die „Weaner“ dazu? Bei uns ist es jetzt ruhig. Gestern hatten wir wieder einen Marsch mit Musik es war ganz schön. Sonst geht es mir gut bin gesund und munter. Das Wetter ist noch schön da gehe ich oft baden. - Du schreibst ob ich im Zwiespalt bin ja liebe Mama ich laß es kommen wies kommt. Ob Ost, West oder Afrike ist ja egal wenn man Glück hatt kommt man überall durch. Wir wollen hoffen daß ich, wie bisher, Glück habe! Nun nochmals vielen Dank für alles. Die Äpfel aus Deiner Heimat schmecken wunderbar aber sie waren doch für Dich bestimmt Du brauchst das Obst zur kräftigung.
